Communications Manager, Endeavor
Emmi Kodat joined the Endeavor team as Communications Manager in May 2024. Emmi is a proud Furman alumna who went on to obtain her MBA from Clemson University in 2017. Her 10-year career in human services afforded her a unique experience working with a diverse group of people, grew her affinity for strategic communications, and fortified her dedication to making a positive impact in the Greenville community.
Emmi began her career working in human resources and eventually moved into nonprofit work in 2018 as Mission Advancement Coordinator at United Ministries. Most recently, she worked as Social Media Strategy Consultant for the Greenville Homeless Alliance, identifying key communication priorities and planning social media content strategically to engage, educate, and compel important audiences to action.
In the community, Emmi serves as Chair of the Greenville Homeless Alliance’s Educate Working Group and Chairs Circles USA’s Service Committee. She’s also served on the Advisory Council for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group and proudly continues to support Furman University as an alumni ambassador. In 2023, she was named one of Greenville’s Best & Brightest 35 & Under by Greenville Business Magazine.
Emmi’s role as part of the Endeavor team includes owning Endeavor’s brand presence online, managing the website, and overseeing social media accounts. She manages Endeavor’s public relations and other media partnerships, curates content marketing strategies, and monitors paid media campaigns.
