Members share advice to Greenville Newcomers

We asked our members, “What’s the first piece of advice you give to Greenville newbies?” and here’s what they shared:

“Jump both feet into the community to learn it and be a part of it.” – Lindsey McMillion Stemann, McMillion Consulting

“Try not to have FOMO! There’s so much to do and see and restaurants to eat at.” – Abbi Minihan, The Inkwell Consulting

“Volunteer! Great way to meet great people and become part of Greenville’s story.”  – Shannon Wilbanks, Managing Partner of Endeavor Greenville

“Places to eat downtown!” (more on that below) – Jen Blair, 9/8 Central

Choosing somewhere to eat lunch downtown is almost like picking a favorite child. There are so many walkable options when it comes time to grab a bite to eat. Our members shared their (sometimes strong) opinions on their favorite spots, and here are the top 5 winners:

1. Roost – 4 minutes

2. Groucho’s Deli – 2 minutes

3. Cantina 76 – >1 minute

4. Snack Works – 13 minutes

5. Parsley & Mint – 12 minutes
